Italy World Cup winner Luca Toni feels Joshua Zirkzee and Dusan Vlahovic can play together at Juventus even if the Bianconeri will need even more reinforcements and predicts Massimiliano Allegri will leave in the summer.

Former Juventus striker Luca Toni believes the Old Lady should sign Bologna star Zirkzee to strengthen their attacking department. However, they’ll also need reinforcements in the middle of the park.

“Zirkzee would be a great coup for Juventus and the Dutchman would form a solid striking partnership with Dusan Vlahovic,” Toni told Gazzetta.

Dutch striker Zirkzee has scored 12 goals in 35 appearances across all competitions this season, and Juventus, along with Milan, Arsenal, and Manchester United, are among the clubs interested in securing his services.

“He could play anywhere. He comes from Bayern Munich, so he is accustomed to top clubs,” said Toni.

“Perhaps, if he wants to be a starter, he won’t return to Bayern Munich because they already have Harry Kane. I hope he stays in Italy because I want to see as many champions as possible in Serie A. I think Thiago Motta’s future could influence his decisions. It is always smart to work with those who know you and know how to get the best out of you.”

Zirkzee’s transfer could even shift the balance in the 2024-25 Serie A title race and bets are already being placed with no account casino Netherlands, offering the opportunity to enjoy online games without having to sign up or register.

Toni feels that Vlahovic and Zirkzee could combine up to “40 goals” for Juventus next season even if “it also depends on the rest of their teammates.”

“Vlahovic is a classic No.9 and he gives his best inside the box. He is a finisher, while Zirkzee is a ‘9 and a half’,” continued the ex-Bayern Munich and Fiorentina forward.

“Zirkzee has the physicality of a centre-forward, but he likes to come deep to collect the ball. They are two strong and young strikers, but I think they can play together.

The Bologna striker “would be a good reinforcement, but the Bianconeri need more quality, especially in central midfield. Inter already signed Zielinski on a free transfer, so Juventus will need two or three real reinforcements in the middle of the park. Giuntoli has already proved to be a talented director and I am sure he’ll prove his worth again.”

Toni believes Zirkzee will not work with Allegri if the Dutch striker moves to Turin in the summer.

“Max is close to qualifying for the Champions League, and if he wins the Coppa Italia, he’d have fulfilled the club’s targets,” he said.

“We can debate the playing style, but there is no doubt that he’s in line with the plans and this is not a small detail. That being said, from the outside, it feels like Allegri’s cycle is over and that Juventus will change in the summer. We’ll see. I’d be sorry for Max because he didn’t do badly, simply, Inter have a better team.”
